At True Blood Bull Terriers, the health and well-being of our puppies is our highest priority. We are committed to responsible breeding practices, proper veterinary care, and ethical placement. This Health Guarantee Policy outlines the protections provided to new owners and the responsibilities required to maintain the puppy’s health after placement.
All Bull Terrier puppies from True Blood Bull Terriers are:
Bred from carefully selected parent dogs with sound health and temperament
Examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to placement
Deemed healthy and fit for sale at the time of transfer
Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
Each puppy is released only after meeting our health and care standards.
The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or pickup.
If the veterinarian finds the puppy to be unhealthy or suffering from a serious pre-existing condition, the buyer must notify True Blood Bull Terriers in writing within the 72-hour period.
Written veterinary documentation is required to validate any health concern.
Failure to complete a veterinary examination within this timeframe voids the health guarantee.
True Blood Bull Terriers provides a genetic health guarantee covering life-threatening congenital or hereditary conditions that significantly impact the puppy’s quality of life.
This guarantee is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Conditions must be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian and supported by medical documentation.
Non-life-threatening or manageable conditions are not covered under this guarantee.
In the event a qualifying genetic condition is confirmed, the breeder may offer a replacement puppy from a future litter, subject to availability.
This health guarantee does not cover conditions resulting from:
Injury, accidents, neglect, or abuse
Improper nutrition, overfeeding, or obesity-related issues
Parasites after transfer of ownership
Environmental factors, stress-related conditions, or allergies
Illnesses caused by exposure to other animals after delivery
Failure to follow veterinary care, vaccination schedules, or general health guidance
Routine or minor conditions such as colds, skin irritations, or stress-related digestive issues are not covered.
True Blood Bull Terriers agrees to:
Provide accurate health records at the time of placement
Disclose any known health concerns prior to transfer
Offer guidance on proper care, nutrition, and veterinary follow-up
Act in good faith to support the puppy’s long-term well-being
To maintain the validity of this health guarantee, the buyer agrees to:
Provide proper veterinary care throughout the puppy’s life
Follow recommended vaccination and parasite prevention schedules
Maintain a safe, clean, and appropriate living environment
Notify the breeder promptly of any serious health concerns
Failure to meet these responsibilities may void the guarantee.
If a replacement puppy is offered under this guarantee:
No cash refunds will be provided
Shipping and transportation costs are the responsibility of the buyer
Replacement is subject to availability from a future litter
The original puppy remains with the buyer unless otherwise agreed
This Health Guarantee Policy applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. By purchasing a puppy from True Blood Bull Terriers, the buyer acknowledges understanding and acceptance of the terms outlined in this policy.
